I have received mulitple calls to my office and on my cell phone from this number and other numbers. All of the callers state there is legal matter due to a loan, they all have an accent (India), and all have provided American sounding names but the calls are the same. This is a scam as I have not taken out any loans. They have given me different amounts each call, can not provide any verfication of any documents and insist that settlement can only be done with a credit card or debit card. They are persistent and have personal information. Do not give out any information to these people
This Man has been calling me back to back after he was told not to do so to the point that i had to change my pohone number.soon as i hang up after telling him don't call me anymore he would call right back from different numbers. I got fed up and change my number.his actions let me further know he is nothing legitimate.Mr Ben Matthews has to much time on his hands.
CALL CAME IN FROM 436-867-87 AND LEFT MESSAGE RE: LEGAL MATTER TO CALL BACK 321-285-4290 TONY BROWN, THAT HAD A FORIEGN ACSENT, INDIA MAYBE. HE STATED THIS WAS HIS 2ND CALL, BUT THE LAST CALL CAME FROM 817-945-6966, VERY CONFUSING! I AM SURE THIS IS A SCAM!
I GOT A CALL AT MY WORK AND IT WAS FROM A JACOB MATTHEWS. HE SAID HE WAS WITH A LAW FIRM AND THAT I HAD A LAWSUIT AGAINST ME FROM A PAYDAY COMPANY THAT ISSUED WHAT HE CALLED A PAPERLESS LOAN TO ME THAT I NEVER PAID BACK. I TOLD HIM IF THERE WAS A LAWSUIT AGAINST ME TO SEND ME DOCUMENTATION AND HE SAID THAT HE WOULD JUST READ IT TO ME. HE SAID HE COULD NOT SEND ME ANYTHING BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO SEND SINCE IT WAS A SO CALLED PAPERLESS LOAN. I HAVE GOTTEN SO MANY HARASSING PHONE CALLS FROM DIFFERENT PEOPLE WITH FOREIGN ACCENTS TRYING TO TELL ME THAT THERE IS A LAWSUIT AGAINST ME. THERE HAS GOT TO BE A WAY TO STOP THESE PEOPLE. I HAVE NOTIFIED THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS A SCAM AND DON'T TALK TO THEM, JUST HANG UP. THE PROBLEM WITH THAT IS, IF YOU DON'T ANSWER THE CALLS THEY SOMEHOW HAVE CONTACT INFORMATION FOR SOME OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS AND THEY CALL AND HARASS THEM. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS!! THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT GET AWAY WITH RUNNING SCAMS LIKE THIS AND TRYING TO TARGET INNOCENT PEOPLE.
