There is no such thing as the "Orlando sheriff," (assuming the reference is to Orlando, FL.) You have the Orlando city police and he Orange County sheriff's office.
An officer is calling from an orlando number stating I commited a crime....with threats of not paying I'll be reported to my authorities then extradited there but if I pay a moneygram fee then I'll be fine and just have to call and check in with him 3 times a day for a year? Since when is an officer an probation officer lol? And since when do they ask for money gram via phone?
If it was that easy to stay out of jail, every criminal would pay other criminals who cold call them. I would imagine the "three a day" schedule is merely to keep "reloading" extortion victims with more excuses to take their money.
You don't discuss the premise of this ruse, but owing consumer debt is not a crime, and nobody sanely sends money by wire to avoid imprisonment.
