My call came from 321-304-2582. Kelly Smith actually told me it was a management position. More probing and discovered it was selling life insurance. These people need to be stopped NOW. How dare these people feed off of peoples hopes. They are scam artists
Just got a call this morning. The woman was very professional and convincing. Luckily I was unavailable. She claimed they do their own staffing and are about to open a new office. Looking or entry level sales team and possibly management personnel ("for someone as seasoned as me.") Wanted to schedule interviews tomorrow morning only.
I also got a call from Kristen to an 800 for the Henderson Group, Kristen ws not available. I have a meeting set up for Thursday with a Mr. Henderson, so we will see. I will post what happens later so there is a definite yes or no on their scam potential. I have gotten so many scams from all job boards and craigslist, it is sad! How else are we too find emloyment when companies no longer take applications personally?
Yup - these people called me this morning saying they were head hunters looking for supervisory/management personnel to staff their new office in Altamont Springs. They said they got my resume off Monster. This was 2 days AFTER I replied "not interested in working for an insurance company" after I received an email.
I should add that my appointment was going to be with a Ron Anderson at the 110 Wl Orange St address in Altamont Springs, FL. Karen was the woman who called me. I am glad we have the internet to check on these companies and that it led me to this site. I will NOT be going to the interview. Oh yes, tried to call back the number and got no reply or answering machine. They gave me an office phone number: 407-682-7522. It was some mailbox phone number and I didn't have a mailbox number to get a response.
