Complaining to the "government" is useless. Complain to an individual- your congressman - each time you look up one of these callers on 800notes etc. Send a copy of what you take the time to type here. If we all did this I would wager someone would eventually get as tired hearing from us as we are of getting these ceaseless nuisances. In the past 6 mos.my software logged over 800 calls from people like these.
I tried to file a complaint about this number at donotcall.gov and it said my complaint could not be accepted because this number has not been in service for 31 days. No wonder they get away with the calls. They just keep changing their numbers.
I get this call all the time but many times from different numbers. Any call we don't reconize we let go to the answering machine. If it's important, they will leave a message. These idiots use to but now they don't. Everyone is right, the DNC option doesn't work at all. I get a bunch of these type calls. Watch out for another one - Portfolio Recovery telling you you owe some old bill.
