Unknown caller from Florida...called it back and got a message saying "you've reached a non-working number." Really? Then how did I just get a call from them?
The Do Not Call list is interesting to look at the rules. If you want to telemarket then you have to register with them and they give you the list of numbers that you are not to call. Yes that is right they give the telemarketer all your numbers that you registered as DNC. The telemarketer then is to scrub his numbers to remove the ones listed on the DNC list.
However some telemarketers pass off the DNC list to there buddies like Nigerians (Cash $$$) to make calls. Doing that they stay in compliance with the DNC list and everyone on the DNC list is exposed by our government to the bad guys.
Do not register on the DNC list and don't answer the phone if you do not know who they are
Received a call from this number. All it stated on my caller ID was that the call from coming from Florida.
They did not leave a message.
I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and I am still receiving tons of telemarketing calls.
I just got a call a few minutes ago from this number also. Since I have a caller ID I don't even bother. Any number I don't know I just won't answer it period, eventually they get sick and tired of calling and getting absolutely no response at all and it is unfortunate but then they always move on to the next victim.
