Trugreen Chemlawn just sprayed yard when I got call they knocked but I was busy. Got call as they left. This is not their number. But employees know no one at home just a thought.
I received a call from this phone number this morning (May 12, 2017) @ 10:26 AM. Caller ID indicated the call was from Los Angeles, CA. When I answered, there was a pause, and then the auto-message came on and said this is a call from your dealer; there's no problem with your car but your warranty is about to expire....... Do you want to speak to a rep? I wanted to see where it would go, so I said, "Yes", and the system repeated the message, and I said, "yes", again. Call was disconnected at that point! I realized AFTERWARDS that I had seen a post on Facebook about scammers getting the call recipient to say "Yes" and they somehow incorporate the word "Yes" into different dialog as if the call recipient accepted an offer of something. Hopefully, this was not the case.
Blocked this number, along with 3 other scam numbers all received on my cell phone today. Some agency needs to start tracking this and making it a crime! The FTC Do Not Call Registry is useless. I have reported so many numbers to them with no reply or action, I give up. Thinking of just giving up my landline because I have to pay to block more than 30 numbers! Why should I pay when scammers use "not in service" numbers to harass me endlessly?
