yes, this is a legitimate call to promote zoo membership renewal. We've been members since 2009 and these phone call specials offer better discounts. If you have or ever have had a zoo membership with L.A. this is a perfectly allowed-legitimate call to those on the Gov. Do Not Call Registry. Our number is on that--since it began. So, this is NOT a scam, just promoting renewals, which we do every year. Chris---not weird for them to know all about your account information; people on your membership, etc... because THEY ARE REPRESENTING THE LA ZOO! (duh)!
