Nelson Carter is his name calling me from The Dept of Affairs for the US Treasury. Concerning a law enforcement action started in my name.  His accent is so thick I could hardly understand him. Good thing he called me right back AGAIN so I could listen to it on my answering machine twice. Same scam thats been going around. This is just the new number

I received a call from a woman with a very heavy accent, stating that she was calling from the department of legal affairs and I was to call her back right away. It was a very important matter and if I was not able to call, I should have my attorney return the call.  As I investigated this on line, it is a scam so beware if you receive a call from this number and do not, repeat, do not return the call. She ended the call with God Bless. Biggest clue ever that this is a scam.The number she asked me to call: 323-238-3868.

These [***] called a co worker and tried to tell her she was being arrested for failure to pay taxes. I took the phone and told the heavy accented person to burn in hell and quit scamming people. They say they are with the U.S. treasury dept

This time (03-20-2015), it was "Bob Peterson" who had the heavily accented voice. I called back and a human answered the phone. Sounded like the same man. I advised him that no such person existed here and he thanked me. A very odd connection with lots of feedback. I blocked the number through my provider.
