I received a call from this number yesterday and just heard the message. Claims to be William Rogers with Dept of Legal Affairs of the US Treasury. I must call him back or be in grave legal peril. If anyone else gets the call it is a scam. I may or may not call to see what he will do. Not falling for this old trick.
I got the same call from Steve Conner and John Backer. I called them back and to see what BS they were "selling". Now it is turning into a game. They want to $5786.36 out of my bank account. They want me to go to the bank and prepare a cashiers check. I told them that I have a baby and I must take the baby. He said to take the baby,(nice guy). I told him I could do on-line banking but he wanted me to drive to the bank and then he will give me the name, account # and routing #. I finally got tired of playing the game and he said he would send the officer to arrest me and take my baby. I'm waiting for the knock on the door now. Have fun with these as_ ho_es. :)
US TREASURY CALLED SAID I RECEIVED A LETTER OF ACTION AGAINST ME A MONTH AGO. NEVER HAPPENED.COULD BARELY UNDERSTAND PERSON ON PHONE .I'M GOING TO JAIL FOR 6 MONTHS ON A CP503 ARREST WARRANT. SO SAYS STEVEN CONNOR.
Was called by Mark Johnson saying my wife was having charges filed against her for failure to pay taxes. Sounded Middle Eastern, or maybe even Indian. Gave me number to call and I called his bluff. Said he was from the U.S. Treasury, not to leave the country as I have three federal charges against myself and my wife.
