Total scam operation. Claim to be located in Los Angeles, but I can't find any business called Berg and Associates that does debt collection.
I have also received a call from a blocked number claiming to be LLS stating that they made an attempt at delivering legal documents and have failed. They gave me this number in the message and said if I did not respond and reschedule immediately that I would have further legal troubles. They even listed a MO claim number, which I believe to be phony. I have received no mail or notices, and if some firm tries to deliver legal summons in person, don't they try to deliver to your residence? I am so glad I looked the number they gave.
Just received a similar call (failed delivery of court papers/summons) from an Unknown number and the guy referred me to call Berg & Associates at 323-238-9779 and gave me a case #. Now that I checked the number and I'm reading various reports, appears these guys are a total scam operation....
