I got the same message. I called the number and told the guy that the number is listed as a scam number. He then got upset and told me to go to hell and f--- myself. I then realized that this could be the same guy who left me a message as an IRS agent. He then also told me the something. How he cussed at me sounded like the first IRS guy. This IRS scam was reported on TV a while ago, so he may be changing his identity or tactics. Be aware.
Got a call that left the following message. Did not return the call, obviously a scam.
"The reason to call is to inform you that you are been listed as a primary suspect in a question regarding the case which is going to be get downloaded today. Again see your name and information prior to the records. If you need information regarding this case. You can reach us at 323-284-5155. I repeat that is 323-284-5155. Don't disregard this message and do return the call. Please call my name is Jay. Bye."
