Received a call from 323-315-0044, a woman's voice supposedly from IRS. Man said he was James Wilson, another person was Mark Victor. Said I has a fraud charge against me and back taxes due. A call to the real IRS said this is a well-known scam, probably operating outside the U.S., but appearing to come from Los Angeles.
Same IRS scam but from a different number. Female computer voice, clams to be IRS. I pulled up the IRS website and it has warnings of these scams, it also says the IRS will always make first contact though the U.S. mail. Do not call these scamers back and do not give them any money. Be safe everyone.
Called me 2 times said i owen money and i need a lawyer i said kiss my #@$. He said he will send the cops out and bring me in. Then i rec'd another call. Did not asw, or call back.
