Number constantly calls my and my husband's cell phones.  No message left.  Will not answer.

"Darlene Lewis" from "Cancer Research Fund".
A 'bot, I'm sure.
At this point, I was more inclined to play "guess the bot" than to try to figure out the scam.
Claims she's a real person; excuse is: "I'm using a computer for quality assurance".
Damn! The technology is getting really slick; it's just a pity what it's being used for.
I put it on my "blocked" list.
The main advantage of being on the Do Not Call list is that you can be sure any solicitation call that comes through is a scam and you need have no qualms blowing them off or f*cking around with their heads.
