I received this call from a male who stated they were about to send the LASD to my house to serve papers on someone; I relpied that person was not home and that I was with Law Enforcement myself.
I stated I would contact the person in question and let them deal with the caller. End of call.
Such a scam - I stopped the guy before he could continue but he called my place of employment. I am so over these BS phone calls and supposed "complaints" against me. I don't know how to get these people to leave me alone.
Guy called from this number, said he was going to come to my house with "deputy" to sign some papers/arrest me. He didn't have any facts about anything, other than I have to calls some other number to find out the details. I told him I'll be here. I think this is a scam, same people calling and leaving ambiguous messages that there is a case against me, blah blah. Supposedly they find financial data from loans you've taken in the past, then try to say you owe money and you are going to jail. But... if you pay them, then they will not prosecute you. Scam. Hope the FBI catches this group soon, annoying and harrassing. Can't believe they called the gal's work above, that is unreal.
