I received this call from a male who stated they were about to send the LASD to my house to serve papers on someone; I relpied that person was not home and that I was with Law Enforcement myself.
I stated I would contact the person in question and let them deal with the caller. End of call.
They called me to say that they were Sheriffs and want to serve me some papers. I told her that Sheriffs serve you at your house. Then she hung up on me. I call the number back and its a MagicJack number.
These people have called my ex-inlaws & my teenage son. They claim they are the sheriff coming to arrest me if I don't pay right now. Scam!! They are relentless! I've had calls from other #'s claiming they are the IRS, lawyers in other states and they have a police officer coming to arrest me, etc, etc.
This number is call my dad and my brothers wife but not me they told my brothers wife I had 3 days to call with the case number provided and or I'll be arrested so I looked up number and this page popped up may I ask what happened with u and your family
