got a call from them too, at least 3 times weekly

I wrote to this address: "NRDC Membership" <[email protected]>
They are allegedly an anti-global warming group.  Here is their response:

"We apologize you received an erroneous telemarketing call. Unfortunately we can't find you in our files under (my name), but if you send us your telephone number, we will absolutely remove you from our telemarketing list.  Thank you for your assistance.

Yeah, right...like I'm going to send them my phone number!!!!

Hi!

I get this call in the venings a few times a week. I have not answered the phone and they do not leave messages.

This number calls me 2-3 times per day. I answer the phone and they hang up!! If you are going to call, at least say something when I answer the phone!

WHy am I on the National Do-Not Call List? I continue to get these calls although I have registered every phone number I have with this agency.

NRDC is a legitimate group and has a 3 out of 4 star rating on charity navigator.  I'm a member but I've never been bothered by phone calls....until tonight!!!  Two calls with no message left, yes, it is annoying and I am surprised they are doing this.  I think the current economy will have all charities being more pushy.
