I gave money ONE TIME and now they keep calling me! Despite several phone calls to get my name off their call lists I've just given up and put the number into my phone as a contact so I know not to pick up. This is NOT how you go about fund raising! I support the organization and some of their political work but the harassment makes me want to never have anything to do with them ever again!
This not-for-profit is Planned Parenthood. They have called more than 20 times (I stopped counting) and never left a message. I eventually answered and talked to a live person, telling them to never call again. They continued to call, even leaving a crank call (loud groaning) on the answering machine. We have contacted the New York office of Planned Parenthood and talked with persons who seemed decent enough. They said they would stop the calls, but the calls continue. We have now talked to three different persons associated with number and they have been told not to call. The calls continue. My wife has supported Planned Parenthood with annual cash donations ever since I met her. We are now meeting with a lawyer to begin paperwork removing the organization as beneficiary of our estate.
77 (Seventy-seven!) calls from this number ---every one ignoring the message that calls were NOT being accepted from that humber---, hence I requested Planned Parenthood Federation to REMOVE my name from their membership list and I did not renew this year. Now "Telefund" (323-871-0684) just called me for..... guess.... PPF!
these morons call ALL THE TIME but luckily i never answer my phone, or keep the ringer on just for this reason. I have everyone i want ot talk to call my cell phone. I these A**holes get hundreds of calls from Adults in Diapers or some other equally annoying company.
These people call our home line all of the time. We usually don't answer if we don't recognize the number but recently I started picking up the phone to tell them to stop callling. The first time I answered they just hung up without saying anything. The second time I answered the lady asked if I was Alisa and when I said "yes, this is me" she hung up on me! WTF?? It creeped me out. I'm never giving donations to them again!
