Keep getting calls from this number. Have newborn and elderly mother living here and I would like to get hold of whomever it is calling and choke the crap out of them. They leave no message, hang up when i answer. Between waking me, my baby, or my mom, I am in Kill Mode.
I just called the number. It is PETA. I hung on until Jacqueline answered. I told her to remove me from their call list immediately. She said she would. Let's see about that.
It does appear to be PETA. At least that is how they identify themselves. If you call the number back it rings through with a recorded "Thank you for calling PETA" and eventually you get a person. If you explain that this number has called your house repeatedly, they will ask for your number and if you want it removed. I have no problem with PETA as an organization, I just find it strange that this started within a few days of renewing my numbers on the Do Not Call list...
Peta uses this "company" or People AND PAYS A predetermined amount for each phone call. THEY HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. I HAVE A PHONE THAT RECORDS PHONE NUMBERS WHEN MY NUMBER IS CALLED EVEN WHEN THEY DON'T LEAVE A MESSAGE.
