Yes, it a solar energy program offering a loan program for home owners. It is actually valid but they want you to jump through all sorts of hoops will not quote a rate for the loans until you provide them with a whole lot of info that I decided was not worth the enegry. HERO is the government program.
11/05/15 12:43 PST Was on another call at the time, the ID was less than communicative and didn't think it was worth interrupting the call I was on. Glad I checked here afterwards. Was checking into HERO program several weeks ago and decided it would be more trouble than it was worth, so never responded to request for more info. What I don't grasp is why they don't identify themselves, like so many other valid programs, when they call. They left no message, either.
Actually, for a change, the HERO program is valid, but they are stupid by not identifying themselves right off the top. The only reason I know is because, for a change, I received a letter in the mail also and checked it out with the county.
