Calls and says they are john smith but has very thick middle eastern accent. Says i have outstanding payday loan ( i dont) and they are pressing criminal charges against me if i do not pay today. they refused to provide me with written documents. They also say if i pay today by western union they will drop the charges. If you get a call like this ignore it. An "attorney" cannot press criminal charges. They are a scam service tryign to scare you by threating you with jail. When they told me the police would be here in a minute i told them OMG they are already here ill tell them you said hi ( i work at a police department). They still call every 3 or four days though.
I just received a call today from a man with a very heavy indian accent left a message on cell phone and 3 on home number saying that not to ignore the call and call him back or have my attorney call him. Very time sensative matter. could hardly understand him so don't know what company he said or if he even said one.
I just got 13 missed calls from them and 3 voicemails saying I have 3 charges against me and to contact them or have my attorney call them and do not ignore them or I will be sorry.
i ended up getting tired of the threatening phone callls i also saved every number ive heard that "do not disregard this msg" soooo many times ive got it memorized. I changed my number and the calls stopped. Problem is they (4 diffrent callers one is female) are utilizing a trunked number system periodically i called the numbers back and its always not in service.
I received a call from this number with a voicemail saying I needed my lawyer to call Mark Watson and not to disregard. Does anyone know about this number?
