Calls and says they are john smith but has very thick middle eastern accent. Says i have outstanding payday loan ( i dont) and they are pressing criminal charges against me if i do not pay today. they refused to provide me with written documents. They also say if i pay today by western union they will drop the charges. If you get a call like this ignore it. An "attorney" cannot press criminal charges. They are a scam service tryign to scare you by threating you with jail. When they told me the police would be here in a minute i told them OMG they are already here ill tell them you said hi ( i work at a police department). They still call every 3 or four days though.
I had the same experience, this guy started calling me at 7 in the morning telling me i was gonna be arrested in 3 hrs at my job if i didnt pay 400 dollars, still sleepy i said who is this and he started getting very sexually explicit and i Hung up he called 8 times that day so i have been turning the tables on these ppl and i have started to call them all the time, and harass them, and have reported them
DONT SENT THEM ANY MONEY, NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY, THEY R A BIG SCAM GOING AROUND
That is exactly what "Alex Cruz" said to me. I was nervous at first but a friend googled the number and this is what I found. What a joke, he could barely speak english and couldn't understand hardly anything.
