A woman with a friendly voice asking for donations for Breast Cancer victims. I politely declined - maybe they were legitimate maybe not. Do not trust any one who makes cold calls ever under any circumstances.
Hit return before I was able to select the type of call. Either it was a real solicitor for the breast cancer society, I was not about to continue conversation with the woman.
Charities are, but this is not a charity. Per the FCC, for-profit telemarkers that solicit donations on behalf of charities are not exempt from the law. They are still legally obligated to obey the do not call list.
