Art called me about an HVAC cleaning service for $49.95. He asked if I'd like to have it done since they were in the neighborhood tomorrow.
I told him I was on the FTC Do Not Call Registry and would like them to stop calling me. He said they'd put us on their do not call list, but kept trying to pitch me on their service. He said they'd send someone to my house to talk to me and then hung up before I could tell him that I didn't want anyone to come to my door,
I then dialed the caller ID number and got a message that the number had been disconnected. After that I called the police and the person said to call the police again if anyone showed up at my door.
Criminals have dialed my landline about 5 times in the last 10 days. They have called in the morning and after 7 pm. The robodialers must be calling around the clock. They never leave a message and caller ID says "Unavailable". Never answer these calls and wont give them the satisfaction of picking up the phone. These criminals should be fined and jailed for harassment.
