Art called me about an HVAC cleaning service for $49.95. He asked if I'd like to have it done since they were in the neighborhood tomorrow.
I told him I was on the FTC Do Not Call Registry and would like them to stop calling me. He said they'd put us on their do not call list, but kept trying to pitch me on their service. He said they'd send someone to my house to talk to me and then hung up before I could tell him that I didn't want anyone to come to my door,
I then dialed the caller ID number and got a message that the number had been disconnected. After that I called the police and the person said to call the police again if anyone showed up at my door.
CID= "HUNTNGTN PRK CA" and calling number. Blocker set to reject all area code 323 area codes, so it only rang once and poof u-r gone. It behooves you to get a good call blocker or call screener as the FCC, FTC, ETC, ECT....... or any other govern'mental' (mental vacuum) entity is not capable of developing the technology to cure this blight of our current phone systems. Heck they can't even control themselves for that matter, NOR are they going to do anything to the telecommunication companies to correct this problem. It's up to "We The People" free enterprise. The only thing that government is going to do is think of some way to tax you.
