This call came in today at 12:21 p.m. It says Los Angeles CA on the screen on my telephone. We never pick up when we don't recognize the number. If they talk and sound legit, we pick up. They left no message. Glad they didn't call early in the morning like some of these posts read. A bunch of morons!
We just got this call second time today. First call was 8:24 am this morning. Nothing says we have to answer calls we don't recognize in my book. I shut off my ringer in my room. Phone rings in another room and will take message. Hate getting these calls. Most of them have gotten dissuaded when I have on my answering device that I will not accept or return telemarketing calls. But then those with devious plans still call. I got one yesterday from Hawthorne , California. Someone trying to represent the treasury dept (with a slight accent mind you) and get this, by the name "Steve Martin" threatening legal action. So watch out for scammers they are plentiful out there.
