Responded to Craigslist ad, used the same ship to address. This one sends a phoney Paypal payment in excess of the price, then wants a refund. When told a Western Union payment was sent (not) to Carol Brown, wanted payment info and wanted me to change recipient to Name:

I knew it was a scam right off the bat, so I'm now the cat and having fun with it, hehe!

I wish I had done some research and seen this earlier. This [***] actually got me. He told me he was Henry Jenna Smart and I sent a Tag Heuer watch to Carol Brown in Alabama and he said he had paid twice and for me to refund the money. Foolishly I did so. I have reported them to the IC3 but don't know where that will get me. Would anyone know of a way to get him.

This guy Valence Jean Mel, who has been going by the name Henry, email address [email protected], has recently been emailing me, offering to buy an engagement ring from Australia. His text message came up as a Spanish mobile number. He is transferred more money than I was selling the ring for, and has asked me to ship it to

He has sent me a dodgy email which is supposed to be from paypal, saying that payment won't show in my paypal account until I reply with confirmation that the item has been shipped and advise the tracking number.

Hey guys, this dude has just tried to contact me and wanted to buy a jewel from me too. I was surprised that he was seemingly willing to pay anything for it. Sent semi-broken English texts to me and does try to make it sound like he has a genuine interest for it, and also with respects to why you're giving the item up, et. Thanks for the heads up of the dodginess around this. Thought is was dodgy when he said he was interested in my other items when I've only ever placed one thing on the net in my entire life.
