I answered, No response total silence. I called back the number (just to mess with them) and a recording came on that said "Thank you for calling the Fundraising Center, your call can not be taken at this time"

There is an effort being made by Consumers Union (they publish Consumer Reports). The effort is a petition to hold the phone companies responsible (at last!) for these phone calls since they do not screen scammers and are making money off their harassing telephone robo calls to consumers.
The petition is to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) to take action to get the phone companies to at least offer free number blockers through their phone system.
Signing the petition is sure to help. Consumers Union has clout because of the numbers.
Please go to www.EndRobocalls.org to end the madness, harassment and scams.
Just as Bill said, this is a fake breast cancer charity. Just this morning on the news, this one was listed with three others as scams because only 3% (if that) goes to charity and the rest to the telemarketer crook family that created them. They are: Breast Cancer Society; Children's Cancer Fund; Cancer Fund of America and Cancer Support Services. All these scams were created by one family. You can check it out yourself at: http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/19/us/scam-charity-investigation/
No one was on the line. I will now block the number. I called the number back and got a recording that the Fund Raising center was not available at this time. I believe it was on the Today Show on May 20th. They said there is a company calling trying to raise funds for breast cancer. A huge majority of the collected funds goes to the telemarketer and 3% goes for breast cancer research.
