this number is a nuisance this caller calls you all day and all night and hanged up uses foul profanity language. Attention people please be aware of this number

Attention this is a scam number can anybody get to the bottom of what type of scam these people are trying to run please help

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

This number  was the second number given to me in response to a Craig's list ad about my missing cat. The first response said " I have found your Cat, some one left it in my backyard. Can you please call me so I can return your Cat, ask for Sherly Bennett or Charles Bennett. 661-945-1968". .I was immediately suspicious but called anyway, it was a time Warner number with no voice mail set up and no one would answer. So I emailed back explaining what happened then the person said this "I apologize i have a new number 323-455-7824 Sherly and Charles is unavailable ask for Floyd Leftwich ". So when I called someone answered but told me quite rudely that I had wrong number I tried to explain and he cussed then hung up.  I live in Florida but number was based in CA, I was willing to give benefit of the doubt thinking that maybe some type of snow bird but just feels like a scam . Getting someones hopes up is a crappy move.   I would say other words but the site asked us to watch our language.

How did you get their number?  You should read my post , they gave me their number through a Craig's list post for my missing cat.  Was wondering what these people's motive is.
