Thanks for doing the legwork on this. Even tho I won't answer nor return unrecognized numbers like these, I *do* appreciate knowing its origin in the unlikely-event that the caller may be someone I actually want to speak to. I know people all over the world and tho I provide a certain few my cell number for texting only, I have 3 landline numbers and have ignored calls from someone I *had* given my number to a long time ago. I also run a business (one of the numbers) and I never recognize new callers who are new to my company. If they don't leave a message they don't get a call back.
hahhaaha, say it like it is brother. i agree and it's incredibly annoying coming to this site searching for information only to read the same clueless entries over and over. Even worse, to be blasted in all caps by commenters screaming at us (in all caps) advising that we'd better stop calling or else.... as if the scam spam callers came here to see how we feel about their unsolicited calls and hangups. The worst of the worst is when profanities and foul language is used by someone venting at those who call them as if we had something to do with it. I just want info because as I've learned by reporting these numbers, there is nothing that can be done; 800notes and the others like it are mostly a gripe sites ; sometimes I learn something about the caller thanks to those who do the legwork. I never answer my phone, my cell nor landline. One trick which has worked is let the speaker phone pick up the call and make no sound whatsoever (hopefully a police car doesn't drive by outside w/it's siren on) , once they get dead air a few times they do stop calling.
Oh brother , I wish you handn't done that. Be prepared for your calls to increase 100-fold. Ever since I listed my numbers with them ten years ago and ignorantly renewed them every 5 years, the incessant, unsolicited calls have increased. My sense is that the DNC List sells the information we've just provided.
