I got a call at my job from this number with the same complaints as the other. im about to miss a court date and the lege papers they want to deliver. they used the name LLC Berg and Associates
Got a call at my mom's house from some guy saying they file and serve papers for a law firm by the name of Berg & Associates in California and they are trying to "hold things off for a while and need my son to call them in the next 2 hours". They claimed they had been "to his house and was told he was not available". In short, these people said: they are in California, Berg is in California, and they went to a house in Statesville, NC the day before yesterday. My son does not live in Statesville and no one has been to his house. There are 2 Berg & Associates in California - one is a warehouse and the other is a personal injury firm; personal injury firms do not want to be bothered with collection work. I told the little darling that called me that I was a paralegal for nearly 30 years; I wrote complaints (lawsuits), summons, subpoenas, filed them, and served them. I told him that I know his job better than he does. He claimed my son is being sued out of Iredell Co. Court in NC. He got flustered and said everything I am telling him makes no sense and I pointed out he doesn't make sense. The phone was put on an answering machine.
