If he had a thick "Arab" accent then OBVIOUSLY he wasn't from Egypt dummy! SCREEN your calls from now on, if you don't recognize the number DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE! DUH!
GOT A CALL FROM THIS #, WAS ASKING ABOUT MY COMPUTER, TOLD THE PERSON NOT TO CALL BACK. MUST BE A SCAM!!! COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THE PERSON, HAD A THICK ACCENT.
Just got a call from this 1-323-489-7476 number (came up California on the caller ID). I could barely hear him between his thick accent and all the noise in the background. What I could hear, he said he was from Microsoft calling because my computer has been downloading malicious software. I told him I don't discuss personal matters on the phone when someone calls me, but he insisted "your computer is going to crash and we will not be able to retrieve anything. You are also out of warranty." My response "Good luck trying your scam on someone else" and I hung up (then looked up the number)!
Received call from (323)489-7476 (CA) telling me I have problems with my computer....accent so thick I could
barely understand him..Have had multiple calls from that number but did not answer them until this AM. I told him
I would take care of it locally and never to call me again. He just kept talking and I hung up.
