If he had a thick "Arab" accent then OBVIOUSLY he wasn't from Egypt dummy! SCREEN your calls from now on, if you don't recognize the number DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE! DUH!
I received several calls until I finally decided to have some fun. He told me he was from "Windows" and they detected a virus on my computer and it was about to "crash". I said Oh No! and asked can you help me? He said click on this and click on that and enter this and enter that. The whole time I'm sitting on the couch saying uh-huh, ok, did that, oops (the "oops" really pisses them off). Finally I got bored with them and said. "But, I'm not running Windows, I have a Mac!" Stunned silence and hung up....
I received a phone call this morning from phone number 323-489-7476, it also showed from California. He went on about how my Windows was receiving a virus. He hung up quickly when I told him I have a MAC.
Is there anyway to report this?
