Babysitting scam. They send you a check (Dave and Faith Winterspoon), and want you to deposit it. Please don't, just shred it and don't speak with them again.

this Savage calls himself Dave Winterspoon [email protected]
He stole my routing number off the internet and forged checks on behalf of my company.
He runs his scams through Craigslist. Please waste as much of his time as possible.
Tell him you lost the wire information.
Tell him he has to personally come and pickup the money.
Try and keep him going for a couple of weeks.

i received the same thing.  how did he get your information.  he contacted me on craigs list.  i haven't given him anything what happened?

Same here! This is just creepy! I am glad I found this posting. I knew something didn't seem right about it. Hopefully I didn't give him enough information to get any money out of me
