Perspective from the other side: First and foremost, I hate telemarketers but I also have bills since my normal line of work isn't hiring me, but this is the only company where I got hired and was advised to leave for being "too sincere"... This is a sure sign our world is bound for perdition. My response? I filed complaints with the FCC, FTC and the state that very evening.
Like others said, they'll hide behind fake names and information, use high pressure sales tactics, refuse to honor the do-not-call list and threatened to fire anybody that pressed the "DNC" button, even having the nerves to claim that "the only reason someone will reject your call is if they're having a bad hair day and they'll be the sweetest angels the next morning". Sorry, I don't know who you're calling or what your clientele is, but I am NEVER happy with receiving a call from pushy salespeople twice, and I WILL get mad if it's the same company I requested to not contact me, regardless if I'm having the worst of days or the best day of my life... People that are angry that we're calling "again and again", often reminding us that they are on the national DNC list or requesting that we stop contacting them accounted for 75% of my calls, and the other 20% calling the bluff on their lousy, terribly written script saying "we contacted you before, you nicely told us you weren't looking for anything and told us to try again in the future"!, and only 5% that actually had an interest in remodeling their house, but almost all stop short of the actual order
There should be a law against posting with out your information. This web sites serve no Good purpose.consumer be ware ! let see I have recieved halve a dozen calls from "let us manage your,internate reviews,1 co. after another. we can fix your reputation! we only charge< Well im sitting in the office just to speak with clients and resolve issues they may have,or on line writeing. Im busy however I dont get mad I simple say no. hang up,did my research. You can not make every one happy !100% of the time.Prior to working here I was employeed at a insurance co.as a collision estimate adjuster, I found that of 10people who we came to see 8 added every nick and prior dent also when confrounted we were a bunch of thiefs so on so forth people fail to realize that claims only raise insurance rates the favorite was you B--- its not your money. Then, they call the co. and lie on the adjuster, they claim I was rude ,when in fact its they who are rude ,unreasonable and want you to turn a blind eye ,lots of single parent; choose not welfare! but a job.and a client is a client regardless of how ugly they are. The white house needs work truth be told it cost nothing to say no and hang up! all this to say wow 3236643560 is NOT A Gold Remodeling # we have very Good References of home owners, who dont have time to post they have lives.however are more than willing to be contacted on our behalf. Shame on liers and scamers who use the web as a media to try and destroy.
I got a call from this woman A) calling me the wrong name and B) telling me we had spoken before about interior/exterior work on my house, and that "I was so nice to her before." What a bunch of BS! I don't EVER speak with anyone about business over the phone, and I would NEVER be nice to someone who cold-called me to talk about business over the phone. What the hell happened to the DoNotCall registry? How can we fight this crap?
Kathleen, I think your message might make a better point if you LEARNED HOW TO SPELL!! Also, you might want to try not doing run-on sentences.....USE PUNCTUATION! I understand how you might be REALLY busy, but that is no excuse for a post that has no grammar and every other word is spelled incorrectly. Especially since you're a professional woman.
