Said name was Steve Martin (!), threatened legal action by the US Treasury, said this was 2nd attempt to contact. English was definitely not his first language. Called at 7:08 in the morning, that was the first clue that it probably was a scam.
Second call today claiming to be treasury dept. This time I called back (Guy I could hardly understand calling himself Steve Martin, HA!) . They answered United States Treasury. I told them if they were the US treasury I was Martha Washington. He told me I would be arrested in 45 minutes and then hung up. I called back and a different guy answered. I asked him what part of India he was from and he said he was from Pakistan, but here in California to scam us. Then he started spewing foul language and saying threatening things about Obama. I ended up hanging up on him.

I have been called twice by these people today. Very aggressive message recorded first time, second time a human in person. It was very obviously a scam: "I am calling from US Treasury about your federal crime." Er, yeah, right. And they didn't know my correct name (and I didn't give it to them). I would be worried that an elderly or vulnerable person would fall for it, they really are so aggressive.
