I applied for a payday loan and in the process I left out a number on my account number. The call I received this morning was from a "Lawyer" saying that I defrauded the payday loan company. The loan company tried to deposit the money but couldn't so it was returned to them and the money never reached my bank and I told them to cancel the loan and everything was ok. This "Lawyer" told me that I had received the money and when the loan company tried to retrieve it I had closed my account and they couldn't get their money and they were suing me. He had the last four of my social, what he thought was the last four of my account number but I informed him that was not my account number and he told me to hold on and then he hung up the phone. I called the loan company and they told me my account was in order and someone was trying to scam me. OH, the caller ID said 0000.
Got a threatening call from this number saying "I can only wish you good luck if you do not respond in a timely manner." I returned the call, after listening to the message several times, as the callers accent was very thick. Only got a message saying ext 1140764 is unavailable, please leave a message. No idea what this is in regards to, can only guess it is a scam.
some guy called me today talking about i owe money to a loan place but little did he know i had a load out at from the same loan place he was claiming i owed! that was the first sign. When he called my phone the first time it was a 0000 number but the idiot still left this number to call back. Everytime i would ask him how much i owed he always came up with different numbers cuz he could never get his story straight. Everytime i would call that number there was no proper answer like a real attorney. Even at one point i called blocked cuz i noticed they would stop answering my calls when i would call unblocked. They started ignoring my calls. So when i called blocked they said the "attorney" is on break ill have him call u back on the number u called from. Knowing the number i called was blocked. They didnt know what to do. So i waited awhile and called back and once agian telling me there gonna serve me papers at my work and blah blah see u in court crap. i just want to let u know whoever is reading this dont fall for there crap. I work inside the Riverside County Jail and yes u can say they [***] with the wrong person and they will get caught.
