Callers are located in India and Pakistan. They spoof local numbers. Apparently 323 area code is popular now. Callers are beyond the reach of US law. Invest in a call blocker and do NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.
"David Gray" from "U.S. treasury" calling about an enforcement action by the USTreasury for a federal criminal offense. Give me a break!!!!!! You think someone from the FTC, or whoever, can do something about all the scam calls from these VOIP companies. In addition they are making up fake badge id number's A51.
Received call from someone claiming to have information about an IRS action. I called the H+R Block office where I usually have my taxes done. My accountant told me that H+R Block was keeping a record of these scam calls - so if anyone else gets a call regarding this particular scam - call whomever it is who helps you with your taxes every year - and let them know about it. EVERYONE who works on taxes NEEDS to be keeping a record of scams like this one.
