Received a call stating he was 2 people, first Chris Barnes and then Officer Glen Barnes. Once I told him to go ahead and issue the warrant he hung up on me. So, I've been calling him back every 5 minutes and saying "Officer Barnes, I've got your money" and hang up. and then Ill call him back and tell him I am a POLICE officer and he hangs up. This is FUN. Let's all call him a THOUSAND times and drive him crazy....
This call is from someone who says they are from the Dept. of Treasury, IRS Dept. and are notifying me about a pending arrest warrant being issued in my name. They also say that someone from 911 in on the line and as soon as the call ends, federal deputies will be dispatched to my house to serve that warrant. The call was a courtesy alert for me to notify my attorney in regards to this pending action. First they asked for my daughter, who no longer lives here, and then said the call was for me. What they are trying to do is to get your personal identification info so that you will pay them money to call off the warrant. They knew my address, names of the people in the house and obviously my phone number. They try to sound official to scare you. THIS IS A SCAM, HANG UP. He says his name is Andy Parker
Same thing happened to us. Caller with Indian accent identified himself as Andy Parker and when pressed said he was calling from Dept of Legal Affairs. I asked in regard to what and he said "law enforcement actions". I said it sounded like a scam and he said something mumbly about notifying my attorney and certified mail that had been sent to our address. I asked the address and he gave the wrong address. I told him it was the wrong address and he read the next address on the list and it was ours. When he then said something about the IRS, I started laughing because I knew it was a scam and told him that he had just spewed off a bunch of intimidating-sounding unrelated agencies and then I hung up on him. What a joke. Do people actually fall for this?

I just received a call from this number. they stated that they are from the us treasury legal department. they stated that they wanted to talk to my lawyer. I tried to give them a fax number but they would not take it. he stated that law enforcement would be at my house shortly. I informed him that I have law enforcement living at my house. he got upset. he stated that I was to have my lawyer (Which I talk to daily because he is a good friend) contact him. I will not give my friend's name out to anyone. He stated that there would be a warrant out for me. My son would notify me if a warrant was out for my arrest. he is in law enforcement. this is a major scam.
My caller identified himself as CHRIS WILCOX and was exactly like the other calls mentioned here. Because I like messing with these people - I'll call them and get them excited that they're about to scam my hard earned money just to end the call with some profanity laced salutations.
