Yes I got the same call just now, something about a credit card being put on hold, but it was hard to hear what the automated voice was saying bc it sounded like it was a bad connection.. sounds sketchy to me!!
I received the call at 1:30 am on my cellphone. I made sure to block the number with my cell phone company, and I filed a complaint with FTC. Filing the complaint was really easy online, I suggest everyone does that! They will follow up.
Just received random call on my cell from robot saying "We regret to inform you your Master Card account has been locked. Please press 1 to re-active." I don't have an MC account/card. I hung up and googled the # and found this page. (Thankfully not at 2 a.m. as has happened to some here!) Clearly bogus phishers. Hope they're stopped soon.
this number dialed my phone and had an automated message saying something about my credit card (it actually used the name of the only credit card I use) and telling me to press 1 for the service department. I did nothing and it automatically hung up, then I immediately called my credit card company and confirmed that this is a fraudulent call. BEWARE, this is a fraud attempt.
Same story as above. Got call on my cell phone telling me to press 1 b/c my credit card was deactivated. WTF. I hope no one presses 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
