Got the same call. The person on the other end first said it was a SURVEY on a follow up solar energy visit (did not have any visit). Then he went into a sales pitch for SMART ENERGY. He gave me the supposed 'real' number: 888-308-6773. I gave him...a false address for the solar expert to come out
To add to above, they actually left part of a pre-recorded message on my cell both 8/22/16 and 8/31/16. All it said was "permanently reducing" which is probably the usual message about the "American Recovery & Reinvestment Act permanently reducing your electric bill". Reported to Do Not Call List
Argh, to further add to above.... I also found them in my caller ID from 9/1 for my home #, it just says Los Angeles, CA but may have been blocked by our robocall blocker.
