I gave them my number by mistake, twice by the way. Afterwards I never give them my number again, so just say you are a part time student and have to work everyday except class days. They are everywhere even at Walmart. Met dr. chan once outside my college library, bad timing.
yeah i got the same call too. they approached me and a buddy at usc when we were walkin around. they said there would be expensive food (hopefully no kool aid) and music and meeting people. so here's my plan: we're gonna go and eat all their food and bounce. hopefully none of it is poisoned and we won't ascend in our journey to the afterlife.
All of this "party" nonsense started happening to me as well. It all started when I gave my phone number (idiot me...) to this Asian lady, and this man (who identifies himself as Dr. Chan), started to bombard me with a lot of voice messages. I was beginning to freak out also.
I've been getting calls from this "woman" since last month when i stupidly gave two latinos my number that approached me at the mall. I've been ignoring her restricted calls and just recently, a man has been calling me, going by the name Chan, to go to this "party." I got really suspicious, because he asked me if I could carpool with him to go to the party as there wouldn't be enough space for parking. My suspicions drew me to this website, where I found out that I was not the only one being bombarded with phone calls from different numbers, and texts trying to persuade me to call him. However, seeing that people have been receiving his phone calls since March 14, 2011, it makes me wonder why someone would throw so many "parties." Today is April 11, 2013, and I just received another phone call for a party THIS SUNDAY. Partying for 2 years? Seems legit! I feel that this might be a case of kidnapping, or just really bad advertising.
