I gave them my number by mistake, twice by the way. Afterwards I never give them my number again, so just say you are a part time student and have to work everyday except class days. They are everywhere even at Walmart. Met dr. chan once outside my college library, bad timing.
I got a voicemail from this dude named Dr. Chan and tried calling back but no one picked up. I looked up the number online and found this page. After reading the comments, I realized that they probably got my number from school. I was approached by someone in Pasadena City College inviting me to a church party—it was my second time being asked to this party but I didn't give my number the first time. I finally gave in because the person who invited me the second time seemed really friendly. (That was really stupid of me in hindsight.) I'm not sure if it helps but they both looked Filipino. I haven't heard back from them but I will definitely ignore them the next time they call.
I was approached by a lady at school telling me about these parties where students from all over attend and was good for networking. She asked me for my number and yes I gave it to her. She called me and I told her I couldn't make it because it was too far so she suggested carpooling which kind of creeped me out. Anyway, I got a phone call from this number since I blocked hers and I was wondering who this Dr. Chan was since he left me a voicemail. Ah, what did I get myself into.
Got a call from Dr Chan and a girl regarding some sort of Party at Downtown Los Angeles at Staple Center. Their number is 213-740-0550 and 323 819 5153, I was stupid enough to give them my number and they keep call back to me regarding the party. Yes, The girl said they will provide some sort of van for carpooling which is creep. There is not enough information for their intention, party location and time. Please make sure do not get yourself into this trouble like me.
LMAO after reading all these responses with the same number and description it truly is a creepy group of "asians" going around colleges getting our numbers. SMH, I was approached at Mt. SAC in Walnut,CA by an older asian woman in her 40s i think. I wasn't really paying attention and she seemed nice, gave her my # and regret it ever since. Good thing I haven't answered any random calls from them.
