I got a call from this number this morning. It's the same auto answering as the other telemarkerters about lowering my interest rate. The best thing to do when you get these robocalls is to ignore them. If you answer, they'll know you are there and they will continue to call. Blocking these annoying numbers will only generate different numbers from the same telemarketers. Obviously, someone is having loads of fun doing this. Don't give them the satisfaction by getting upset. It's not worth it.
Recording. My machine picked up on ".....notice to lower your credit card interest rate & payments. press 1 now to find out the terms conditions & Assoc. changes before the next billing cycyle. Again. this is your final notice as it relates to the financial stimulas. So press 1 now to take advantage of this today."
Were all aware of the national Do Not Call registry..
However not everyone is aware of the AT&T Do not call registry...
If you have home phone and use AT&T for your ph service I HIGHLY recommend calling AT&T 800 number and ask for customer service Agent and asked to have your number added to the do not call list with AT&T.
you will need to authenticate your account & number.
Good luck at getting AT&T to answer your call with a real LIVE Person that is not in a off shore country!!
This is a scam do not fall for it!! Buy a call blocker if your service doesn't have one!! Don't answer any number that you do not know!! Just hang up without saying anything!! The robo caller will think it's a bad number and will stop calling it!!
*sigh* Card Services yet again on 11/27/2012 at 3:13 p.m. Central time. Didn't bother to answer. Saved the number to my block list on my phone. That's really all that can be done.
I've gotten many "card services" scam calls but this is a new number for me. Got the same partial message mentioned above. If only it were true that it was their final notice!!
