I have gotten a call from this number twice in two days and no voice mails to follow, and they called my cell phone. The caller ID doesn't even show a place of calling from.
Called office landline, would not identify himself or who he was calling from. Also did not know whom to ask for; said the name of the person who's office he was calling for incorrectly. Hung up on me when I tried to insist he leave a message. I called the number back and the call does not go through. Obviously a scam of some sort. The original call had a lot of call-center type background noise.
It's from tradepub.com or freebbusinessmags.com wanting to renew our subscription to SC Magazine. Same call every year. They don't just call out of the blue. We renew our free subscriptions and it's done. They don't call for another year usually...unless they have some online event we might be interested in. Just tell them to remove your number. We did that for a different subscription we were getting, and they stopped calling for that one.
Received 2 calls @ 11:25 & 11:45 a.m. EDT. No voicemail was left & I wasn't home to answer the call. Caller ID Showed "Illegal Scam" Funny, I didn't know there any Legal Scams? Blocked the number. I'm in North Carolina & Provider is Century Link. Do not answer this Caller!
