It's a legitimate #...unfortunately sometimes dead-beat parents give wrong numbers so that they cannot be traced and that is why you sometimes receive these calls even though you may not have a child support case
This is moneygram working with child support office to make it convenient for the non custodial party to pay by using their service of a fee $1.99 per transaction.
I never lived in los Angeles county, I think they are calling in number sequence. I called the number back and it does work the same as my counties child support division.
this was a mis directed robo call from LA County child support to advise of changes recently made. My case worker said it's a system glitch & calls are only to go to the non custodial parent who is making payments to let them know that payments can be made by Western Union. Hope this helps & clears things up.
OMG you two have me cracking up ... you are correct about the jobs and such and it continues to get worse. Now days it's not worth answering the phone. I got a call just now .... it's Saturday, Child Support Services does not work weekends!!!! And I don't have any children needing child support I raised all of mine on my own with no help.
