This just another Ill-disguised scam to suck money out of the unwary and obtain personal data for identity theft. The number is spoofed, robo-called on a tie-line. Blocked.
Called to tell me that I owe money to the IRS. I called back just to humor them. I got an answering machine that said "Thank you for calling cash ugly houses. Please leave your name and number after the tone.
I got a call about taxes being owed on tax years 2002-2007. I explained to this imp that am only 22 years old and didn't start working and paying income taxes until Nov 2016. He offered (for a generous fee) an Identity Fraud subscription. Wow, and someone would even show up at my door to accept my payment for the services and direct me to the person in charge of the Identity fraud unit to begin the identity fraud research. Hahaha
I got a robo call stating that IRS had filed a lawsuit against me and if I wanted more info on my case to call 323-886-0762. Since when does the federal government file lawsuits against an ordinary citizen who has not missed a single year of income tax returns? I did not call back. I think it is a scam
It's a scam I confronted them when I called back and told them I would call the irs and report them they said there was an arrest warrant out for me.theyung up on me then the left a death threaton my voice mail no kidding. Said she would come to my door and beat me than kill me.i am waiting still no knock I am pressing charges.
