A man with a heavy middle-eastern accent called from this number. I would like to report this as an illegal phone call by a man that clearly does not work for the company (Renal Disease Council in SoCal) and we believe he is stealing their phone number to make these anonymous calls. Unclear as to what his intentions are.
Man with accent, claiming to be with DHL, wanted an employee regarding a delivery from a specific company. The intended target denied waiting for anything, and MWA said, "I'm sorry that he's not expecting the package," then hung up. Caller ID read 323-962-2020, which led to the Southern California Renal Disease Council.
While I was typing the above, another call came in with the CID masked. Same guy and routine, but this time, I requested the tracking number and replied Yes when he asked if I were the assistant. The number turned out to be bogus, and MWA started laughing when he demanded my name. I just hung up.

Man just called me, VERY difficult to understand, talking very fast, very thick middle-eastern accent. He said he's from UPS, and he has a package to deliver for me, and it needs my signature, so he needs to know if I'm home. I said no, which I shouldn't have said anything. I said I'm not expecting any packages and asked who the package is from. He said 'Karen Peterson', which is a person I don't know. Then he said he needs to call me back later.
