Answered. Nobody there. Said hello like three times before the line was cut at the other end. I have an app on my phone that automatically records all calls. I played back the recording and people can be heard talking in the background, but I can't understand anything being said.
Just got a call from this number. I didn't like the approach. They said, "Hello, (insert my name here)?" I am wary because I've heard of the telephone scam where they ask you a question, hoping you'll say, "Yes." Then the scammers claim you said "yes" to being charged an outrageous sum of money. I asked in a rude tone, "Who is this??" They quickly claimed that they were from a political party, and I just hung up. Let's face it. With email and snail-mail, there are other ways of getting a hold of anyone.
