This is from the scammer acting like they are from Verizon or Horizon. Asking if you "Can hear me ok" then records your response of "Yes" to scam you out of money. Several news reports about this scam. Called me 6x finally answered. Block them
Received a call from John at Horizon asking if I could hear him okay. Said 'yes' (knee jerk reaction) before I had time to think about it. He asked if I was still interested in furthering my education....said no this time and he said 'thank you very much' and hung up.
What are the ramifications of my saying 'yes' to his first question?
