I got two calls at home on back to back days. I also got a call on my work phone! Didn't return call. Not a robo call. Mrs. Gordon coughed during her message.
Number comes up as "Beach City OH" which is in the Akron area. I've gotten a number of scam calls from the 330 area code. Called the number back with my caller ID block on to see what it was. Message says "This call may be monitored for training and quality assurance purposes" and gives you "options", one of which is to "speak to a live representative." But the number never identifies itself, either on Caller ID or in the voice recording. If I had an ego, I'd be infuriated that they think everyone is stupid.
Had the same message "Mrs. Gordon urgent to call with acct. #'s" never mentioned my Elec. company's name! So I call my company and reported it on a message machine for home security, I only hope they follow through with an investigation!!?????
Mrs. Gordon trying to reach me about charges to my electric account. They've called me twice now with the same recording, cough and everything. I did not answer or call back. The electric bill is not in my name so they would not be calling me if this was not a scam.
